Okay, so... this is what I picked up for the traits for Sagittarius. That's me - December 3rd.

Traditional Sagittarius Traits

Optimistic and freedom-loving
Jovial and good-humored
Honest and straightforward
Intellectual and philosophical

On the dark side....

Blindly optimistic and careless
Irresponsible and superficial
Tactless and restless

I'd say that I fit about 75% of it? Intellectual and philosophical is usually beyond me unless I've had wine. Blindly optimistic? Oh yeah, I've been told that - especially about people. I trust way too easily. Careless? Depends about what. I don't think I'm superficial, but then I constantly accuse myself of being shallow for many reasons, so maybe. I don't believe I'm tactless. I was when I was much younger, but now? Nope, I won't cop to that. Irresponsible? I can be about certain things, yes. Restless? I can be at times.

Does that make ANY sense? *LOL*

I should add that I have other negative traits, they just aren't noted in the astrology page. *LOL*

5 weird things that I like. Hmmm... Well, it's all subjective, isn't it? So I'll go with things that I think others would find weird. 'Cause you know, I find my weirdness perfectly normal! *g*

1. I like salt on my fruit. Apples, oranges, watermelon, pineapple. Yep, I get weird looks when I do it, so I guess it's weird. *LOL*

2. Flamingos. I collect them, china, stuffed, pictures. I even have a tattoo of one on the inside of my right forearm.

3. The TV show franchise - Say Yes to the Dress. It's SO freakin' over the top sometimes and I can't believe that people spend the money they spend on these dresses. I'm addicted. *LOL*

4. The sport of curling. *g* I think it's perfectly normal, but all my non-Canadian friends find it very, very weird.

5. Comic books. Yeah, for a 54 year old woman, it's a little weird. *LOL*

And this was DAMNED difficult! *LOL* Either I don't like a lot of weird things or I'm unable to differentiate between weird and normal. *g*

I heard that some people put salt on watermelon, but I've never tried it like this :).

Oh, man, I agree with [livejournal.com profile] iamjw, this is the TOUGHEST!!

1. "I swear by all that's holy, I thought turkeys could fly!" (It's decades later and I STILL laugh just thinking about it!) I'm probably paraphrasing.

2. "Hey, lady!" It has to be said in a Jerry Lewis voice.

3. It's not funny ha-ha, but it makes me laugh with delight every time I watch The Magnificent Seven and Yul Bryner and Steve McQueen do the count of how many they are.

4. Anything coming out of Pepé le Pew's mouth. :)

5. "Life is a continual limp dick with an occasional blow job." Lars still makes me laugh after all these years. :)

My most favorite Larsism ever! *g* That whole scene. He's such a drama queen and I love him. :)

That first quote, btw, in case you were wondering is from 'WKRP in Cincinnati' and refers to the Thanksgiving episode where they released turkeys from a plane over ... was it rush hour traffic? Not sure, but as we know, turkeys can't fly and, well, you can imagine. And yes, I'm sitting here giggling now. Oh... YOUTUBE!!! Here's the Turkey Drop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ST01bZJPuE0) from youtube. OMG, I'm DYING now!!!!
