Yeah, it's Monday. BLECH!! Hate 'em - but ya gotta have 'em to get to Friday and the weekend, right?

So we went to see Serenity on Saturday - myself and the boys - Michael and his buddy Jeff. Loved it! Loved it! Of course, I'm a huge Firefly fan, so it wasn't a big leap. *LOL* But the movie itself was pretty to look at, the plot made some kind of sense, and the dialogue was great. And Nathan Fillion is just too damned hot! Anyway... we all liked it, despite the plot twists I DID NOT CARE FOR - but won't give away in case y'all wanna go see it.

Comin' Out..

Well, I just came out to one of my friends here at the office during our morning break. Told Paola that yes, the fiction I write is gay slash - and yes, it's RP slash too. I've known Paola for almost 20 years now, since she was the typically Italian Canadian innocent young girl. *LOL* She's anything but that now. Heehee!

Anyway - managed to floor her. Thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. See... I showed her this pic I have of two guys making out - I'll post it when I get home. Anyway, it's the hottest thing. She looks at it and goes... "But... wait! That's two GUYS!" She gives me this look. "Are you thinking of going to bat for the other team?" She says. ROTFLMAO!!!

I said, "No... but you know that fiction I write? It's gay fiction, Paola, gay real people fiction." There it was, right out there on the table, next to my laptop, between our two cups of coffee. "You know... guys on guys?"

"But, but... you still write men/women stuff too, right?" It's almost like she's pleading with me at this ooint. *LOL* I nod in the affirmative. "So... why write about guys? You still want to DO guys, right?"

"Of course I want to still do guys! SHEESH!! And why write about guys and guys? Well, 'cause I can? 'Cause I want to? 'Cause it interests me?" I mean, hell, I've never thought about it in depth - the story wants to be told, I tell it, you know?

"How fuckin' COOL!!" She yells out. *LOL* "I want to read some - print me out some, please!"

"Well, sure, okay, I can do that." I'm laughing at her by this time, she's so gobsmacked and intrigued at the same time.

So, I printed her out Fault Lines, In This Night- A Friend, Purr and Remote Control and took them over to her.

"Oh!" She says. "I can't wait to read this! It's so cool! You're so cool!"

Hehehe... I guess she's not bothered by it, huh?
